Assessment

We offer psychological assessment to children and youth who are interested in learning about how difficulties with emotional and behavioral processes may be impacting their emotional, social and/or academic functioning.

  • How it works.

You will have an initial meeting with the clinician assessing your child, followed by typically one or two assessment sessions, and a feedback session.

  • Primary question for assessment

Together with your clinician you will generate a primary question, known as a referral question. This will help focus the assessment, report and recommendations provided.

  • Standardized assessments

Your clinician will use clinical interview and standardized assessments that have been established for use with clients with similar backgrounds.
